25 countries, 5 continents and 1 common aim: Make better decisions.

Through the magic of online meeting technology and a willingness to wake up a little early and work a little later, I've had an amazing experience learning from colleagues and customers from all over the world.

Its inspiring to see all those moments when a better way is discovered and then to see how it grows organically given the unique set of factors that faces every company, project, market and region.

Essentially the whole world has cut their own paths in these endeavors, learning from one another but needing the flexibility to make it work for them. Over time you can start to see regionality of digital transformation in 3 categories. Entrepreneurial, Prescriptive, and Standardized.

For instance, the US is highly Entrepreneurial in their approach. The UK is has pursued a Standardized approach (at least they write the standards like they do, reality is commonly different). Projects in the Middle East are highly prescriptive which can ensure bespoke value but can also cost a lot of money without significant return.

What is common across the world is that this is a constantly moving target where standardized processes will be continually sought after.

Is your organization able to respond to these approaches?

How do you preserve or, better yet, increase value for yourself and the other stakeholders?
